Searching for gif in iPhone — WhatsApp

I know this might sound trivial, but being an iPhone user for past 2–3 years, I was not able to figure this out until yesterday.

Also it was interesting that when ever I searched for “Searching for gif in iPhone in WhatsApp” on Google, there were no articles and all of them talked about using gifs in iMessage even though WhatsApp has a huge user base on iPhone at least in asian countries.

So here I am, trying to make a small tutorial and you don’t need to install any app for that, it’s in built in WhatsApp, so let’s get started.

Step 1 —
Open your default keyboard and click on the icon highlighted in the below image

Step 2 —
Click on the search icon on the bottom left corner of the screen as highlighted in the below screenshot

Step 3 —
Now you can enter what ever gif you want to search in the search bar, it’s just that simple, I now how dumb it is, but don’t worry you are not alone. 😉

Also this is powered by giphy so probably that would be the best place for you to search for the most accurate gif you are looking for.
